Just when you think that nothing is going to hit your line on this cast, BAM!, you rod doubles over and your line starts slicing through the water at lightning speed. Swisssh! your line cuts one way and then another, you have never seen a fish that could swim this fast and changes it's direction so erratically and you think to yourself "What the heck kind of fish is this?" Most people think of piranha as a little perch size fish, but the truth is the Black piranha can grow to be over 10 pounds. They fight like no other fish on earth and are very hard to keep on your line because their mouth is solid bone and it is very hard to get the hook to penetrate.
